I know the price is cheaper than another seller. The bluetooth dosen't seem like new and the condititon is very bad. That is totally unacceptable. But the product also is cheap. How can you sell the fake product to the customer.
Generally I am happy with the unit but occasionally people say my voice is muffled.
Yes, it does pick up wind noise outdoors.I have a few co-workers that rave about the jawbone which I would like to try when I get RICH like they think they are but with the price I am EXTREMELY happy. They do offer PC updates for the unit but I believe I have the newest firmware. I bought this headset based on the voice isolation technology which I need.I work in an automotive factory that constantly has a drone type of ever presentnoise which is loud and quite annoying. The BlueAnt does'nt quite block out the noise which I sometimes have to repeat myself even with "Voice Isolation Max" feature activated.I am still happy with the unit because of the earpiece volume which I have to turn down even in this environment whereas with my old unit I had to ask my caller to repeat. There is a newer model out may try @ a later date.A nice small unit with a built in "tie clip" that doesn't look like a piece of jewelry hanging off of your ear, another great feature is you can turn off the flashing "on" light to "off" on the unit for night-time driving. The seller shipped fast with no problems or concerns also. Amazon is the --BEST place to shop.
This was very painful and I could only wear the headset for a few minutes at a time. I LOVED this headset. I once recorded a test using maximum while across the street from an active construction site. I never quite got used to that. A grill in the middle with a rubber surround. On the outbound side the voice isolation technology works very well. Sound quality is good on the inbound side and the volume gets quite loud - this is the first BT headset I've had to turn down.
Some of the sound leaks through but not enough to hinder conversation. If it does, you can easily change between standard and maximum isolation levels. I recently lost my Blueant Z9 and almost cried over it. While in a call, tapping the button once changes the voice isolation level. You have to hold it down for 2-3 seconds to end the call. The second thing I didn't like were the eargels. The unit I bought only came with one earpiece (which I think was large) but they resemble a standard earbud-style headphone. I still couldn't wear the headset all day or anything but I could wear it for an hour or two before it became unbearable. After I lost it, I splurged and bought a Blueant Q1. The piece I found was solid rubber, considerably smaller and had a lobe that kind-of stuck into the ear canal.
once I found an eargel that worked. The Z9 is compact, lightweight and well constructed. I decided to buy a Moto H15 instead (big mistake). I couldn't even hear myself talk but my normal-level speech came through loud and clear. There are two things I didn't like about the Z9. One was the function of the primary button. and found that one of its earpieces could be stretched to fit my Z9. That one is OK but still has its issues with earpieces and apparently with construction.
Other than that the friendly usability and light weight and distinguishable lack of space noticed when in use verses others with them all across your face and mouth is a plus for me. My experience with the BlueAnt Z9 Headset has been the best experience thus far with a Bluetooth Headset. My overall rating for this product would be an 8.5. Though the hearing is great, but the quality of the incoming voice could be better. When communicating with others there is sometimes poor quality of voice deliverance from my end to the receiver. Thanks for this product and your continual advancement in making a product that exemplifies technology at it's best.James A. Johnson
